The mission of Trails Inspire is to promote community trail use, development and tourism through freelance writing, photography, public speaking and trail design. Contact sirena@trailsinspire.com with inquiries about our services.

Sirena Rana Dufault is an Arizona Trail and desert hiking expert and an advocate for the outdoors. She loves to share the wild and remote places she explores while hiking, backpacking, rafting and canyoneering through her photography, speaking engagements and writing.

Inspiring and empowering others to take on their own adventures is her passion. She is especially interested in getting more women and people from diverse cultures and underserved populations outside. Visit her blog Sirena’s Wanderings to follow along on her adventures.

She helped to build and promote the Arizona National Scenic Trail and developed the successful Gateway Community Program, connecting trail users and services and promoting economic development in the 33 towns near the trail.

Her photos have been featured in Backpacker Magazine: Long Trails and “Your Official Guide to the Arizona National Scenic Trail as well as numerous publications, online articles and the Arizona Highways blog.

She is the author of “Best Day Hikes on the Arizona National Scenic Trail” and a contributing author to “Your Complete Guide to the Arizona National Scenic Trail” and her articles have appeared in the Copper Town News, American Long Distance Hiking Association – West Gazette, Visit Arizona’s website and many more. Her specialties include the Arizona National Scenic Trail, the Grand Canyon, desert hiking, ultralight backpacking and advocating for protection of our public lands.
