Tomorrow is National Trails Day! Where do you plan on hiking? You can find an event on the @americanhiking website.
Repost from @desertsirena: I'm teaching a FREE online class on Grand Canyon Hiking Tips and Tricks for Women for @tsx.challenge on June 23, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm PDT. I'll be sharing things that I have learned to help make your Grand Canyon trip a success without adding too much to your pack weight. Have questions? We'll cover those too!
Repost @polarpreet - Preet has just made history becoming the first woman of colour to complete a solo expedition in Antartica. She completed the 700 miles in only 40 days.
From our founder @desertsirena: Earlier this year I was camped overlooking the Grand Canyon after a rain and wrote the first line about potholes of water shining in the sunset on the Esplanade. The cadence reminded me of The Christmas Song (aka Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire). Finished it up for the holiday and thought others would enjoy it too!
Still looking for holiday gifts? Signed copies of Best Day Hikes on the Arizona National Scenic Trail available for $25 including shipping at TrailsInspire.com or sirenarana.com. Orders will be shipped within 1-2 days.
Repost from @phxmagazine - Hiking podcast recording underway with @desertsirena at @rei in Paradise Valley. Come out to see The Hike Book author Mare Czinar and pick up your copy of the new Volume 2.
