Here are the latest updates on Phase 2 of the Tusayan Community Trails Plan:

-The stakeholders meeting notes as taken by the Tusayan Town Clerk and the notes for the presentation given by Sue Farley, Environmental Coordinator for the Kaibab National Forest can be found by clicking here.
-An update on the project will be given to the Town Council in the first quarter of 2019, date to be determined.
-A proposal and formal request letter has been sent by the Town of Tusayan to the Kaibab National Forest in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The document is available on the Trail Info page for download at www.tusayan-az.gov/trail-info.
-We are currently looking for people interested in joining a committee to determine the signage and interpretation of the Grand Canyon History Trail, which will tell the human history of the region. The committee will have two in-person meetings in 2019, if you are interested in joining or want more details please send an email to sirena@trailsinspire.com.
